What is New With You? Minimize

I want to hear from you... After a brief lull... I am hoping to get back to regular updates on the family website. I also will (over the winter, I hope) get some more of the old website loaded onto the new website.

Now with all the new technology... the kids are out pacing the old school website with cooler stuff like youtube and others. Have you posted a video to youtube? If so let me know... I'll feature it on our family website! Make sure it is family friendly... no teenage swearing or old people farting!

Are you a blogger (a kind of on-line journal for you old folks)? You can try to figure out our family blog... I am not a blogger so can't figure it out... but if you have something to say... it is there for you to use! Let me know if you need help.

If you are a computer geek and want to try your hand at designing your own page... let me know. This system is pretty cool and allows multiple users to update via passwords.

Thank!
Judi

Hi Judi-

I'm Vicky Guild (maiden name). I shared some genealogy info with Tony Guild a while back. I can't seem to find his email address, but I remembered having found your website a while back and I had it bookmarked. Happy New Year!

My great-grandparents were George Amos Guild & Eva Mary Harris aka Eva May Harris. George was the brother of William F. Guild and Eva was the sister of Hattie F. Harris, your great-grandparents(?). I thought you all might be interested in a website I found with archived exterior & interior photos of the Guild-Kollock House in Wrentham, MA. The house was up for sale in 2008 and it looks like it sold, but the website still has the photos archived for those curious about antique homes.

The original part of this house was built by our ancestor, Deacon John Guild, the first of our ancestors born in North America. It was sold to the Kollock family by his great-grandson, John Guild, after his father, Benjamin Guild, in 1804. My understanding in the 1970's the house had changed very little when a local couple bought it to restore. They were the owners selling it in 2008 and the photos showed how carefully they kept the house as near original as possible. Hope you enjoy viewing the photos on this site.
